Whole Foods – The Juicery

After the success of the Butcher’s Brother project, Bridgeport Whole Foods asked Brewhouse to lead the brand identity effort for a new juice bar. We started with one of our favorite non-design exercises—naming—and made sure to exhaust all the terrible puns we could think of before settling on a name with a sense of place, clear meaning, and a slight play on words. We then made furniture selections, material choices, and color recommendations and designed a logo to match the modern, clean style we were chasing. After opening, The Juicery quickly attracted regular customers and generated employee enthusiasm for experimenting with unique, healthy concoctions.
